The Diver Experience Program (DEP) is for newly certified divers or divers who are new to the Puget Sound Area. Here's how it works:

There are ten specific dives that you need to complete in a 12 month period. These sites have been chosen for their accessibility, and will help to expose you to much of what Northwest diving has to offer. Once you have completed all ten dives, you will be awarded a Moss Bay Dive Club sweat shirt with your name on it.

The dives you must complete are as follows:

1. Edmonds Underwater Park
2. Seacrest Cove 1, 2 or 3
3. Titlow Beach
4. Octopus Hole/Sund Rock
5. Keystone Jetty
6. Harper Abandoned Ferry Pier
7. Sunrise Beach
8. Alki Pipeline
9. Orchard Rocks or San Juan Boat Dive
10. Les Davis Reef

Rules:

• Participant must be a Moss Bay Dive Club member in good standing.
• Participant must have been certified as an Open Water Diver (or equivalent) within the last 12 months, or have lived in Washington State for less than 12 Months.
• Participant must notify the Diving Officer or the Director to start the program.
• Participant must dive with a buddy.
• Participant must log dives and have them verified by your buddy (get your buddy to sign your logbook).
• Participant must have either the Director or the Diving Officer sign in your logbook following the dive.  Signatures can be obtained at monthly meetings or at your dive.
• Participant must complete all dives within 12 months of beginning the program.
