Membership Types and Entitlements

First year membership is free!

We offer individual and family membership options. An individual membership is for the one person named on the application, whereas a family membership covers all divers in the same residence. Both membership types carry the same rights and privileges. Renewal dues are currently set at $35.00/year for an individual membership and $50.00/year for a family membership. Membership dues contribute toward the costs of the club-sponsored events, advertising, the monthly newsletter, and providing as much of a good time as we can. Our Member Benefits section lists many other valuable reasons to join.

A membership is valid from May 1st to April 30th of the following year, referred to by the term Membership Year. New members joining between January 1st and April 30th will receive a membership valid through the end of the following membership year. Membership dues are not pro-rated for partial membership years.

Join MBDC / Renew Membership

MBDC is currently accepting members for the Membership Year to April 30th 2009. To join or renew your existing membership, please complete the following steps:

  1.  Download, print, and complete our Application Form and Liability Release (40.65 Kb) forms. Both new and renewing members must submit an Application and Liability Release for each Membership Year
  2. Renewing members must also remit their renewal fee for the next membership year by April 30th. (First year new memberships are free!). If you are renewing, payments can be mailed or faxed to us with your paperwork, brought to our next meeting, or sent on-line using our PayPal service option.

There is a one month grace period to complete the renewal process for the next membership year before members are reclassified as 'expired'. Expired memberships lose their privileges and club benefits, along with having access reduced on this website and our mailing list. It's important for you to get your renewal paperwork to us as quickly as possible. Expired members can re-join at any time under the terms described above.

Online Membership Payments

To help ease our busy members' lives, we offer you the ability to submit your new or renewal membership fee on-line using PayPal. PayPal lets you use credit cards, bank transfers, debit cards, and other options to send your payment.
